The blue in this set is very hard to capture accurately in a photo.  It is a deep rich turquoise.
 
The hand knit penguin shown is not included with the yarn, and is for demonstration purposes only.  The pattern for the penguin is "Ice to Meet You" by Sarah Schira of Imagined Landscapes and can be purchased through Ravelry or PayHip.
